Summary: I kept on running `USE_FRAMEWORKS=1 update-pods && open RNTesterPods.xcworkspace` and adding missing dependencies until `RNTesterPods` started compiling without failure. **Note:** I made sure to only commit the podfile changes from `update-pods`, **without** `USE_FRAMEWORKS=1`.
