Torbjörn Andersson beb72667dc Implemented volume and panning for FF sound effects. I hope my mapping from 
DirectSound's logarithmic scale to ScummVM's linear scale is at least
reasonably collect. This should keep the sound effects from overpowering the
spoken voices in some scenes.

Torbjörn Andersson 75e851777b The File class automatically tries adding "." to a filename if the file cannot 
be found, so there's no need for the Simon engine to do it. (Though the game
detector still does at the moment.)
