Summary: Limit diagnostics width output by `hermesc` as they may cause slowdowns or even crashes in Gradle/Xcode when a minified bundle is used as input. This occurs because Hermes is unable to determine the terminal width when executed by Gradle/Xcode, and falls back to "unlimited". If the input is a minified bundle, Hermes will output the whole bundle for each warning. Installation
yarn add @react-native/gradle-plugin
Note: We're using yarn to install deps. Feel free to change commands to use npm 3+ and npx if you like
Testing
To run the tests in this package, run the following commands from the React Native root folder:
yarnto install the dependencies. You just need to run this onceyarn jest packages/react-native-gradle-plugin.
