Robbie Coomber 000bbe8013 Add support for "preferred" AlertButton (#32538)
Summary:
Currently, with the Alert API on iOS, the only way to bold one of the buttons is by setting the style to "cancel". This has the side-effect of moving it to the left. The underlying UIKit API has a way of setting a "preferred" button, which does not have this negative side-effect, so this PR wires this up.

See preferredAction on UIAlertController https://developer.apple.com/documentation/uikit/uialertcontroller/

Docs PR: https://github.com/facebook/react-native-website/pull/2839

## Changelog

[iOS] [Added] - Support setting an Alert button as "preferred", to emphasize it without needing to set it as a "cancel" button.

Pull Request resolved: https://github.com/facebook/react-native/pull/32538

Test Plan:
I ran the RNTesterPods app and added an example. It has a button styled with "preferred" and another with "cancel", to demonstrate that the "preferred" button takes emphasis over the "cancel" button.

radex b58e176af0 Moving towards UIWindowScene support (#28058)
Summary:
Pull Request resolved: https://github.com/facebook/react-native/pull/28058

I'm taking the first step towards supporting iOS 13 UIScene APIs and modernizing React Native not to assume an app only has a single window. See discussion here: https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/25181#issuecomment-505612941

The approach I'm taking is to take advantage of `RootTagContext` and passing it to NativeModules so that they can identify correctly which window they refer to. Here I'm just laying groundwork.

- [x] `Alert` and `ActionSheetIOS` take an optional `rootTag` argument that will cause them to appear on the correct window
- [x] `StatusBar` methods also have `rootTag` argument added, but it's not fully hooked up on the native side — this turns out to require some more work, see: https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/25181#issuecomment-506690818
- [x] `setNetworkActivityIndicatorVisible` is deprecated in iOS 13
- [x] `RCTPerfMonitor`, `RCTProfile` no longer assume `UIApplicationDelegate` has a `window` property (no longer the best practice) — they now just render on the key window

Next steps: Add VC-based status bar management (if I get the OK on https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/25181#issuecomment-506690818 ), add multiple window demo to RNTester, deprecate Dimensions in favor of a layout context, consider adding hook-based APIs for native modules such as Alert that automatically know which rootTag to pass

## Changelog

[Internal] [Changed] - Modernize Modal to use RootTagContext
[iOS] [Changed] - `Alert`, `ActionSheetIOS`, `StatusBar` methods now take an optional `surface` argument (for future iPadOS 13 support)
[iOS] [Changed] - RCTPresentedViewController now takes a nullable `window` arg
[Internal] [Changed] - Do not assume `UIApplicationDelegate` has a `window` property
Pull Request resolved: https://github.com/facebook/react-native/pull/25425

Test Plan:
- Open RNTester and:
- go to Modal and check if it still works
- Alert → see if works
- ACtionSheetIOS → see if it works
- StatusBar → see if it works
- Share → see if it works

Malcolm Scruggs fa97b2383c Use default OK on buttonPositive to prevent showing an alert without any buttons (#25033)
Summary:
Solve #25016

Use `OK` as default text for the affirmative button if no text is specified. When setting an alert on android with button configuration, and no `text` field specified no button is shown on the alert. This makes it impossible to dismiss. An example of how this can happen is creating a simple button where a `onPress` callback is used but no text is specified:

```
Alert.alert(
   'title',
   'message',
   [ { onPress: () => console.log('onPress') } ],
)
```

Does not change the current behavior of no text button configurations on iOS. On iOS at least one button is always shown, and buttons with no text can be displayed.

Behavior on setting multiple buttons is a little wonky, but this PR does not aim to solve it. I did test these cases and included some examples below.

Summary:
This is the next step in moving RN towards standard path-based requires. All the requires in `Libraries` have been rewritten to use relative requires with a few exceptions, namely, `vendor` and `Renderer/oss` since those need to be changed upstream. This commit uses relative requires instead of `react-native/...` so that if Facebook were to stop syncing out certain folders and therefore remove code from the react-native package, internal code at Facebook would not need to change.

See the umbrella issue at https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/24316 for more detail.

Jonny Burger ec941cd57d Make Alert not cancelable by default on Android (#24541)
Summary:
By default, an alert is `cancelable` on Android but not on iOS.
This PR changes the behavior so that the Alert is not dismissable on Android by default.

The motivation is that many developers develop on iOS and test on Android, and do forget to consider the case that the alert is dismissable.
Consistent behavior by default makes it easier to develop cross-platform apps in general.

 ---

For context and for your consideration, I have started a discussion here with the topic of whether React Native should try to use OS defaults or be consistent between platforms:

https://github.com/react-native-community/discussions-and-proposals/issues/121

 ---

If this PR gets merged, the docs should be updated as well:

Christoph Nakazawa c6d8f6048a Properly gate platform specific code in Alert
Summary:
In the past, Alert and AlertIOS were separate modules and both were shipped on Android even though only Alert can be used there. We unified the two modules but it meant that the code for both was still shipped on both platforms.

This diff changes it so that platform specific code is gated in a `Platform.OS` block, which means that the unnecessary code per platform is being stripped out. I'm not looking to win a beauty contest with the code in this module - we have barely touched it in years and I don't think we will touch it anytime soon, so I just merged the sub-classes (which only had static methods anyway) directly into the main class. I'm aware I could make two separate files with platform extensions but that ends up being more code here and it seems straightforward enough to me.

Mats Byrkeland edb6ca72fd Fix ESLint warnings using 'yarn lint --fix'
Summary:
Hi! I would like to contribute to React Native, and I am just starting out. I forked the repo and found that it has quite a lot of ESLint warnings – many of which were automatically fixable. This PR is simply the result of running `yarn lint --fix` from the root folder.

Most changes are removing trailing spaces from comments.

Haven't really done any manual testing, since I haven't done any code changes manually. `yarn test` runs fine, `yarn flow` runs fine, `yarn prettier` is satisfied.

Benjamin Dobell 27928f3993 Optional Alert onDismiss callback to support Android default behavior
Summary:
On Android it's generally expected that alerts are dismissible by tapping outside the alert box. This is the default behavior for React Native, but until now there has been no means to listen for the dismiss event.

`Alert.alert` already takes an `options` object, so this pull request simply adds an additional option `onDismiss`, a callback function that will be called when an Alert is dismissed (rather than being closed as a result of a button press).

**Test plan**

Simply pass an `options` object to `Alert.alert` with the `onDismiss` property set to a function.

e.g. Run the following on Android, dismiss the alert by tapping outside the alert view, and monitor console output.

```
Alert.alert(
  'Alert Title',
  'My Alert Msg',
  [
    {text: 'Ask me later', onPress: () => console.log('Ask me later pressed')},
    {text: 'Cancel', onPress: () => console.log('Cancel Pressed'), style: 'cancel'},
    {text: 'OK', onPress: () => console.log('OK Pressed')},
  ],
  { onDismiss: () => console.
